If you are of an age that you can remember how each small town or village always had a general store that served as the center of the community, you will especially enjoy our store with its vast variety of goods, for just about any need you may have.

From Groceries to hardware, clothing to ski rentals and everything in between, you’ll find it at Fred’s. We even find the Guest Quarters upstairs in the annex of Fred's General Mercantile. That’s why our motto is "If you don’t see it, ask for it. If we don’t have it… you don’t need it!

The Wildbird Supply Co. is a complete shop devoted to supplying all the needs of folks interested in feeding, housing, attracting, and learning about wild birds. - The entrance of the Guest Quarters greets you with an antique stained glass window… and the interior surrounds you with fine wood paneling and stonework. The Backside Deli spills out onto a garden patio in a wooded setting where wildlife is abundant. You’ll also find the best in Ski & Snowboard Rentals.
