Ridgecrest, A LifeWay
Conference Center is owned and operated by LifeWay Christian Resources, an agency of the
Southern Baptist Convention. Ridgecrest offers attractive, affordable accommodations to
meet a variety of housing needs. Hotel and motel rooms, as well as spacious apartment
units are available and conveniently located.In the early 1900's, the land which is now
the home of LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center was a wilderness area with a few
deserted cabins, a railroad track, and, a dirt trail leading west. Beginning with the
vision of Bernard Hardee, it has become today "the Mountain of Faith."
There are now 53 buildings that can house over 2,500 people at a time. The LifeWay
Ridgecrest Conference Center presently includes 2,200 acres of land ranging in altitude
from approximately 2,000-3,200 feet.
