mountaintop above the Appalachian State University campus, the facility boasts a 25-mile
scenic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Newly remodeled the furnishings ensure guest
comfort and also match the beautiful mountain surroundings. The rooms are furnished with
top-of-the-line Simmons Beautyrest - Hotel Pinnacle mattresses. Custom built furniture by
St. Timothy's of Hickory, NC, features a mix of maple with metal accents on the head
boards, desk mirrors and the luggage benches. To accommodate the business travelers,
computer data ports have been added adjacent to the generously sized work desks. Also, a
new Lucent phone system along with Tesa electronic locks were installed in each room.
As a full service, 20,000-sq. ft. conference center that accommodates all types of
groups from intimate business retreats to larger corporate meetings and tradeshows, the
Broyhill Inn also serves as a 'learning lab' for Appalachian State University. |
